The british tourists are the biggest group and therefore the most important for the Costa del Sol but the biggest increase 2012 was the Swedish according to the Patronato de Turismo in Malaga. There was an increase of over 30% of Swedish toursits chosing the Costa del Sol for their summer holiday compared to 2011. There were also big increases from Norway, Finland, Russia and Belgium. It is interesting to visit the South of Spain again, only a few hours flight, real estate prices being bery low and prices for Golf also being very good.
All year is good to come and we can have sunshine all year round with some more probabilities of rain during the winter period. To rent a car at Malaga airport during the winter is very cheap with prices peaking over summer. Always be out in good time to book your summer hire car. Look for inclusive rates as most companies nowadays are charging much extras on arrival that was not quoted when making the booking.

Maybe you do not need to rent a car at Malaga but have your own car that you want to park at the airport. The parking industry at Malaga airport has become huge with many companies offering indoor or outdoor parking close to the airport. Most parkings are around the Commandante Garcia Morato area by the entrance to the airport and others in the San Julian area. Mostly you have to drive to their offices and they take you to the airport with a courtesy bus and the other way around and others meet you by the airport and take your car directly. Prices are different in most companies and daily, monthly or yearly contracts are offered. Most parkings can also arrange for servicing and repairs whilst your car is parked. As with the hire car companies do check that the rates are inclusive and there are no other additional costs that were not quoted. This is specially important when you choose a yearly contract where sometimes you are only allowed a certain amount of movements with the car before being charged extra per pick up or drop off.

We do not offer the cheapest hire car quote just for you to make the booking and then present a long list of extras when you come to pick up the car. What you see here is what you pay for the rental probably making it one of the cheapest final payable rates. No deposit, no fuel charge, no extra daily charge for insurance and the list can be made much longer.

At Bruno's car rental we always remind our customers to be extremely vigilant and to doublecheck the estimated final rental price before booking a car online. The reason for this, is that many car hire price comparison websites only compare the basic rental price, but do not take into consideration the charges for supplements such as babyseats, additional drivers or out of hour delivery service charges.
If you want to save yourself the hassle of comparing the prices yourself by using popular websites for example Tripadvisor, Autoeurope, Holidayautos or Easycar this is no guarantee either, that you will book the cheapest car hire, because in most cases there is no clear information about additional insurances or the fuel policy which is applied by the local car hire company. Many online brokers in Spain not only have relationships with companies such as Avis, Hertz or Enterprise, but they also work with local companies like Goldcar, Centauro or Record rent a car in destinations such as Mallorca or Tenerife.
Most local car hire companies in Spain will cut the basic rental price to the very limit and make a profit by selling additional services or charging the cost of a tank of petrol at a premium. As an example: a week’s car hire at Mallorca airport with www.hispacar.com, a popular online broker, offers a price of 50 pounds per week for a small economical vehicle. That rental price may look cheap, but it does only include a basic CDW insurance and a full tank of petrol must be purchased upon arrival, unused petrol will not be refunded. A quick calculation shows, that the cheap car hire price at Mallorca airport is not so cheap in the end.
